Une journ\u00e9e de v\u00e9lo avec grosse circulation jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 Glenbrook pour arriver aux pieds des Blue Mountains.<\/p>\n<p>A Penrith, nous profitons d&rsquo;un magasin de v\u00e9lo pour changer une pi\u00e8ce. Les jeunes du magasin sont compl\u00e8tement excit\u00e9s quand on leur raconte notre voyage. L&rsquo;un d&rsquo;entre eux nous donne un conseil pour un lieu de bivouac et nous donne son avis \u00e9clair\u00e9 sur notre projet de route \u00e0 Glenbrook. On repart avec le v\u00e9lo r\u00e9par\u00e9, le num\u00e9ro de t\u00e9l\u00e9phone d&rsquo;un pote qui habite plus loin et de nombreuses id\u00e9es pour nous occuper dans les Blue Mountains.<\/p>\n<p>Arrivant \u00e0 Glenbrook on se fait accoster par une personne nous demandant si on cherchait quelque chose, \u00c9ric r\u00e9pond, un bivouac pour la nuit et nous voil\u00e0 invit\u00e9s \u00e0 dormir chez cet homme. Visiblement un investisseur. Il est en train de faire construire sa maison de campagne mais dormir dans un chantier \u00e7a ne nous fait pas peur. On mange ensemble et nous demande notre trajet. Le perroquet blanc est le merle de chez nous, on le voit partout m\u00eame \u00e0 Sydney. Ce qui donne un c\u00f4t\u00e9 jardin tropical quand on se ballade en ville.<\/p>\n<p>Katoomba falls, echo point, the three sisters, federal pass, la mine, Orphan rock et pour terminer les Fuber steps. 4 heures de marche avec des vues grandioses. Et comme on n&rsquo;est pas fatigu\u00e9 on poursuit par une apr\u00e8s midi de v\u00e9lo sur la piste Narrow Neck road.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style type=\"text\/css\">\n\t\t\t#gallery-3 {\n\t\t\t\tmargin: \/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Le lendemain nous roulons jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 Blackheath, joli village rempli de rhododendrons d&rsquo;o\u00f9 part une piste qui m\u00e8ne \u00e0 Hanging rock et the \u00a0Grose Valley. Vues toujours aussi impressionnantes avec des falaises vertigineuses et plein de grosses fleurs rouges dans le bush. Un grand merci \u00e0 Trish et Rick.<\/p><\/div>\n<h1>Un peu de culture.<\/h1>\n<p>Les blues Montains sont en fait un immense plateau \u00e0 1000 m d&rsquo;altitude \u00e9rod\u00e9 par l&rsquo;eau et le vent, d&rsquo;o\u00f9 les immenses falaises abruptes de sable et d&rsquo;argile que l&rsquo;on d\u00e9couvre \u00e0 chaque virage s\u00e9par\u00e9es de vastes vall\u00e9es verdoyantes d&rsquo;eucalyptus. On y trouve une centaine d&rsquo;esp\u00e8ces diff\u00e9rentes. Le site ouvert au public ne repr\u00e9sente qu \u00b4une infime partie du national\u00a0parc. Peut \u00eatre moins de 1 %, le reste servant de collecteur pour alimenter en eau de grands lacs qui eux m\u00eame alimenteront Sydney et m\u00eame en partie l&rsquo;ouest vers Ad\u00e9la\u00efde.<\/p>\n<p>Wentworth Falls fait parti des plus beaux sites visit\u00e9s. Sa cascade de 300 m de haut, l&rsquo;am\u00e9nagement du site hallucinant, quand on sait qu&rsquo;il a \u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9nag\u00e9 en 1900 et pour la petite histoire , ce sont 4 hommes appel\u00e9s l&rsquo;Irish Brigade qui, pendant 2 ans ont creus\u00e9 et am\u00e9nag\u00e9 \u00e0 flanc de de falaise le passage de 2,5 km jusqu&rsquo;en bas de la cascade. Quand on voit le boulot c&rsquo;est titanesque.<\/p>\n<h1>Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 vos questions<\/h1>\n<h1>Question logistique<\/h1>\n<p>Le v\u00e9lo dans le train, c&rsquo;est super easy, on charge \u00e0 la fourche sans d\u00e9faire les sacoches, le personnel de la gare est toujours l\u00e0 pour nous donner un coup de main et le train n&rsquo;est pas cher.<\/p>\n<h1>Question repas<\/h1>\n<p>On est tr\u00e8s loin des nouilles qu&rsquo;on a du mang\u00e9 qu&rsquo;une fois car on est souvent invit\u00e9 et dans les campings ou dans les parcs il y a toujours des barbecues \u00e0 gaz, style plancha. Donc on en profite.<\/p>\n<p>Bon on se fait aussi des sandwichs !
