Nous roulons quelques kilom\u00e8tres pour atteindre Caufield o\u00f9 nous dormons chez John et Marjorie, un couple de cyclistes, warmshowers qui ont travers\u00e9 les Usa en tandem. A 73 ans Marjorie fait encore du v\u00e9lo, \u00e7a nous donne quelques perspectives.<\/p>\n<p>De Caufield nous avons mis une bonne matin\u00e9e pour sortir de la banlieue de Melbourne puis des pistes cyclables et petites routes nous ont men\u00e9 \u00e0 Koo Wee Rup. A partir de l\u00e0 c&rsquo;\u00e9tait l&rsquo;enfer, un peu comme si nous roulions sur la bande d&rsquo;arr\u00eat d&rsquo;urgence de l&rsquo;autoroute A6. class=\"wp-caption-text\">Walkerville<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>De Walkerville nous grimpons une cote de 2 km \u00e0 5% histoire de dig\u00e9rer le petit d\u00e9jeuner. Puis cette une route vallonn\u00e9e dont les descentes nous donnent pratiquement l&rsquo;\u00e9lan pour les cotes qui nous am\u00e8ne \u00e0 Fish Creek d&rsquo;o\u00f9 nous empruntons le RailTrail trac\u00e9 sur une ancienne voie ferr\u00e9e. Une piste paisible o\u00f9 nous croisons un wombat et o\u00f9 nous pouvons admirer au loin le Wilson Promontory. Cette voie verte se continue jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 Port Welshpool.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_4385\" style=\"width: 550px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a p\u00eacheurs remontent leur bateau. On voit tr\u00e8s peu de bou\u00e9es en mer, les p\u00eacheurs remontent \u00e0 chaque fois leur gros bateau \u00e0 moteur sur leur remorque tir\u00e9e par un beau 4&#215;4.\u00a0Le parking en est impressionnant. Aujourd&rsquo;hui la m\u00e9t\u00e9o \u00e9tant cl\u00e9mente ils \u00e9taient tous de sortie. Il faut les voir \u00e0 la man\u0153uvre pour remettre le bateau sur la remorque, 5 min pas plus. Ensuite c&rsquo;est d\u00e9pe\u00e7age des poissons, la p\u00eache a \u00e9t\u00e9 bonne, plein de petits poissons d&rsquo;environ 20 cm. Ils habitent la ville et se baladent de temps en temps \u00e0 v\u00e9lo. Paul nous dit qu&rsquo;il a un block \u00e0 Woodside l\u00e0 o\u00f9 nous devons dormir ce soir et que si l&rsquo;envie nous en dit ,on peut y aller. Pour nous un block c&rsquo;est un p\u00e2t\u00e9 de maisons mais ici \u00e7a veut aussi dire un terrain. On dit pourquoi pas! Le temps de faire les courses, les 20 km avec 40\u00b0 \u00e0 l&rsquo;ombre et d&rsquo; arriver sur les lieux, nous attendons Paul au pub qui doit nous rejoindre \u00e0 14 h. Arriv\u00e9s d\u00e9goulinants de sueur, nous prenons une grande bi\u00e8re et panach\u00e9, on discute avec les clients mais on doit faire piti\u00e9, l&rsquo;un d&rsquo;eux nous offre des frites. Bref bi\u00e8re bue frites englouties, Paul arrive et nous montre son terrain \u00e0 100 m du pub. En fait c&rsquo;est un immense parc avec une partie de plantation d&rsquo;arbres de diff\u00e9rentes essences pour le bois et les meubles. On n&rsquo;a jamais eu de place de camping aussi spacieuse. L&rsquo;eau de pluie de la citerne est potable, on met l&rsquo;outre au soleil pour se prendre une bonne douche sur l&rsquo;herbe face \u00e0 la plantation et on plante la tente entre deux pins. Ce soir c&rsquo;est f\u00eate on mange au pub. A la nuit tomb\u00e9e quelques chevaux et kangourous se prom\u00e8nent sous les arbres. Demain depuis Bairnsdale nous emprunterons un Railtrail de 99 km qui se finit \u00e0 Orbost. Deux jours de route. La suite nous para\u00eet plus \u00e9pineuse car il n&rsquo;existe aucune route secondaire plus ou moins parall\u00e8le \u00e0 L&rsquo;Hwy. Nous roulerons donc soit sur cette maudite route en esp\u00e9rant qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y ai pas trop de traffic soit nous tenterons le bus avec les v\u00e9los (pas gagn\u00e9) soit nous zapperont les jolis coins de la c\u00f4te pour grimper dans les montagnes.<\/p>\n<p>A Bairnsdale nous rencontrons Roger un cycliste norv\u00e9gien. Deux conceptions diff\u00e9rentes du voyage \u00e0 v\u00e9lo. Ce dernier d\u00e8s les panneaux d&rsquo;indications nous donne le ton, l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e elle aussi est peu commune. Ann\u00e9e 50,de la r\u00e9cup un peu partout, la camp kitchen est un must. On s&rsquo;y installe avec plaisir, c&rsquo;est tr\u00e8s calme, mais notre tente ne fait pas tr\u00e8s vintage.<\/p>\n<p><a terrain, voir sportive mais la for\u00eat est toujours aussi belle. Les voitures se font rares au petit matin et c&rsquo;est surtout dans l&rsquo;autre sens qu&rsquo;il y a du passage.
