La bande pour rouler est large et les voitures nombreuses. Nous sommes lundi, fin d&rsquo;un grand weekend end puisqu&rsquo;aujourd&rsquo;hui c&rsquo;est l&rsquo;Anzac day, la journ\u00e9e de comm\u00e9moration de la bataille de Gallipoli.<\/p>\n<p>Le paysage change doucement depuis Whanganui. La for\u00eat primaire et son majestueux fleuve font place \u00e0 de grandes \u00e9tendues herbeuses pour les vaches. La r\u00e9gion du Taranaki est principalement li\u00e9e \u00e0 la production laiti\u00e8re. On nous dit que les plages sont belles mais nous avons peu l&rsquo;occasion de les voir \u00e0 part pour un arr\u00eat pique nique ou pour camper. On guette le Taranaki derri\u00e8re les nuages, va t il montrer le bout de son nez? Un contraste important entre la mer d&rsquo;un bleu gris d&rsquo;un c\u00f4t\u00e9, le vert intense des p\u00e2turages et cette montagne imposante au loin.<\/p>\n<h1><a \/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>Nous passons deux nuits \u00e0 New Plymouth pour pr\u00e9parer la suite du trajet et visiter la ville. Une grande ville avec quelques beaux b\u00e2timents o\u00f9 nous visitons le Te Puke Ariki (mus\u00e9e, i center et biblioth\u00e8que), allons voir quelques expos et comme d&rsquo;habitude sillonner en long et en large les rues.
